The double action hook is amazing when it comes to catfish. You never have to worry about missing the bite, what you do have to worry about is losing your rod, cause when these hooks set look out its on, i myself almost lost a rod. I would recommend this gear 110% all the time. After watching some Team Catfih videos on youtube and coming on here and reading some testimonials I decided to buy some Secret 7, Sudden Impact, and Dead Red Blood Spray. After I ordered this stuff I recieved the package 2 days later which I was really excited about. Well i finally got out there today to try the Secret 7 out. I had my doubts of it actually working because I have tried ALOT of stink baits and dip baits with no success AT ALL. Well my experience with Secret 7 completely erased all doubts I had about this stuff. I could not believe the size of the cats I was pulling in with the Secret 7. The smallest fish I caught today was still bigger than all the cats I was normaly catching. On my hike back to the car everyone was asking how I did and every chance I had to show off the big guy I caught I did ha ha. Everyone I showed it to could not believe the size of the cat and everyone said they have never seen that big of a channel cat caught out there, and neither had I until today. But all that means to me is that there is some even bigger ones out there that I am going to catch with the Secret 7. Team Catfish you have a customer for life. And I cant express to you how good your customer service is over the phone. Thanks a bunch!! Date: 2011-11-08 10:09:28 Name: Bobby Kubin Location: North Texas Message: I just wanted to give you and Team Catfish a big shout out. Once again your products are breaking records. Sunday morning, twelve year old Tyelor York landed a new personal best and the pending Texas Parks and Wildlife, Jr. Angler Catch and Release record blue catfish for Lake Lewisville in my boat. The fish weighed 22 lbs. 12 oz, had a length of 38-1/2" and girth of 22-1/2". The fish was landed on one of my 3/4 Ton Casting Rods using fresh gizzard shad with Dead Red Blood Spray for bait. The 8/0 Double Action Circle hook found its mark and held true. Tyelor and his dad Jeff ended the morning catching 33 blue cats in just over 4 hours of fishing, or should I say "catching". Thanks again for helping my customers catch that fish of a lifetime and put more and bigger smiles on their faces.
Thank you,
Bobby Kubin

Sam White & Regan Whitworth finished the tournament with a 1st place victory. The duo managed a 2 day total pushing the 60lb mark. Considering it was record heat for the event there was a lot of fish caught. However the big ones were hard to find. Sam & Regan both were sporting Team catfish gear at the event. Both anglers were praising Team catfish tackle and its ability to bring fish out of the heavy cover they were fishing. Team Catfish also donated a prize package for the event that definitely turned some heads.

I used it on a spot here in California I haven't seen the cats get over 5 in this long so I use an ultra lite setup. First of all the stringer was full within an hour and 45 min. So we went to a spot where we hadn't had much luck but ones we did get were still small. We got there and fought to bait up first and get our lines in the water 2 8lb cats and a 15 pound cat later we didn't want to go home. Such great Saturday will definetly be getting the bigger tub of secret seven.
Eric G. Date: 2011-09-21 17:53:40 Name: Sam Simons Location: Chattanooga, TN Message: I have a friend Brandon who had been wanting to go catfishing for awhile. The first time I took him, he landed a big 49 inch blue. Of course, the 8/0 team catfish hook took care of business. He was hooked and has gone on several trips with me since. Last trip, he hooked another big blue. After hitting the bottom of the boat after several minutes, the hook was completely through the jaw. It's nice having a quality hook and getting somebody hooked on giant bluecats! I don't trust any other hook than team catfish for big blues. By the way is a spinning model of the thunder cat medium action ever going to come out?
I really want a thunder cat rod but i am wary to switch from spinning to baitcasting. Any tips on baitcasting vs spinning would be great too.
Thanks for making great products that work

I thought you might find this amusing
The result of your sudden impact punch bait at Catfish corner catfish farm in mesquite Tx 9/5/11
My 5 year old son majorly slaying them with his spider man rod with 6 lb stren as I bait & take them off the hook probably caught more fish than the 30+ other people combined in the hr we were there
once I had the scent in a small spot just kept casting there & he was hauling them out non stop & these we not small fish.
Everyone else was using liver, worms & not catching 1 to his 15, kept nudging in as close to me as they could & still caught Nada
I never thought I would see hatred for catfish bait like I saw today, every time I reached down & pulled out another one I could feel the eyes like a cold chill & I think the obnoxious hat & the laughing probably didn't help much.
By the time we left, Me, the boy & the sudden impact were all getting real close to being thrown in the pond.
I did manage to give some of your bait away as we left & told them where I got it, they were already catching fish by the time we got to the other side
Congratulations Team Catfish for a super bait & 1 happy kid!

Then i went down the river a little bit and casted in and about 30 seconds later i had another big fish weighing at 25 pounds but it went under some rocks and the line snaped trying to get it out so i lost it aswell but the sudden impact bait is the first dip bait that i have used that actualy does what it says. Thankyou team catfish for the new bait and great results. Date: 2011-07-15 17:46:13 Name: Chris Location: Delaware County, PA Message: Hey, Team Catfish!
Thanks for posting my testimonial. I was able to get a picture of a local channel cat caught with Secret 7, a dead red dip tube, and my own hat sponge cube on a 3/0 circle hook (not sure if I really need the sponge as well as dip tube but it seems to help when the river current is extra strong.). The landing net is about 36" in diameter.
I brought this fellow in on a 6'6" ultralight rod with 6 pound test line -- a really nice fight. The cat itself weighed about two to three pounds. This is about the biggest that we get around here from the shore.
I now have my son hooked on Secret 7. He loves how we can bring in loads of cats and not have to deal with the large amount of small perch that steal worms and chicken livers but won't mess with the Secret 7. DEAD RED BEST THING EVERY MADE HANDS DOWN! Date: 2011-07-08 16:27:22 Name: Chris Location: Delaware County, PA Message: I fish along the Delware River from the shorline and the cats are mixed in with other fish such as perch, stripers and eels. I typically use chicken livers and circle hooks and even found a decent way to tie the livers to the hooks with elastic thread. This works great if the cats are around but, more often than not, much of the bait would be lost to these little non-cats and I constantly have to reel in and check the hooks which were usually picked clean.
All the cats I encounter are little compared to what I see here. Often, I use ultralight tackle to bring in cats of about eight pounds or less. Hence, we tend to catch "kittens" and not real catfish as most guys know them. I guess the big ones are way out in the river's middle channel.
Secret-7 seems to solve that problem of little fish stealing the bait! I bought a small tub with some dip tubes to try. I watched the videos (very important, as I had to thin it a bit with oil and understand how it works on the water). The current wiped out the dip tubes pretty clean so I then added a small square of hat cleaing sponge material that I had bought from a western store. This combination did the trick. I threw out the sponge/tube combo and had a cat nail it within ten minutes. I landed a total of five kitten-sized cats which is great considering that the ultralight makes them feel like much larger cats. The great part was no nibbling from the little perch and stripers or eels out there! I knew I had a cat when I got a hit.
Thank you, TC! You've make cat fishing which I enjoy more enjoyable! I load up the hook, send it out, and simply let it sit out there in the current and wait. No more having to reel in and check after a nibbling rod-twitch from a 4" perch! No hit withing fifteen minutes means no cats around so move around!
I only wish that TC had a dealer around in PA. I have to travel very far to find dip or punch bait of any kind so am forced to order it on-line. Armed with guide and tournament tested tackle from Team Catfish we set out on a new years day for a beast. With tough weather conditions the day started a little slow, we found fish off a start step ledge and started a control drift (or dragging) and caught several fish. Best of the day was this 35 and 84. Thanks Jeff for the quality of your product. Thanks to the mixture of Dead Red Blood Spray, a slice of Pike Mackerel, and a 5/0 Double Action Dead Red hook, I landed my first 27 lb. Blue Catfish today. Man was I excited, and crazy enough this time I was by myself instead of with my kids. This took place in a small pay lake in Poway California off one of their buoy lines in a boat. Their current record blue stands at 34lbs., so I was shy by a couple of numbers, but still mine was HUGE. I had the wife take a few pictures and let her go back to the deep for another day of fun for someone, plus eaten one over 15lbs. is not as tender. On October 6, 2010 I caught a 29" channel on two persimmons on a 8/0 Team Catfish, double action, red hook. The bait was set near the bottom in 20 feet of water. On October 24, 2010 I caught a 21" channel on some mini marshmallows on a 6/0 Team Catfish, double action, red hook. I had a small split shot on the line, but it wasn't enough to sink the marshmallows, so I left for two minutes to get some more weights and came back to find a fish on. This is the only channel I have caught with a bait floating on the surface.
No, persimmons and marshmallows are not my favorite baits for channels, but I won't totally ignore their use either.
Both channel cats were hooked in the lower lip. Not just 'barely' hooked, but hooked at least 1/2" to 3/4" inside the the outer edge of the lip and then the hook came out the underside (outside portion) of the jaw. The hook was embedded so solid that you could have held up a 20 pound fish with no fear that the fish would fall off because of that much weight. Even a 20 pounder could not have wiggled off of those hooks. I had to exert all my effort just to unhook and release these beautiful fish.
I highly recommend these hooks. It's clear that they work remarkable well and do the job that a quality hook is intended to do. Any chance you will come out with same hook in something larger than an 8/0? I know some flatheads I'd like to test them on.

The Team Catfish Dead Red Blood Spray is an AWESOME product! I spray every piece of bait that hits the water and feel it really helps put more fish and more smiles in my boat. Here's a picture of Willy with his personal best blue cat that tipped the scales at 22 lbs. It was the first fish of the morning and hit a gizzard shad fillet on a 5/0 Double Action Circle hook drifting over a deep-water flat. Of course the bait was generously sprayed with Dead Red. Willy finished up the trip catching 23 catfish in 5 hours. Water temps were close to 90 degrees, but that didn't stop the fish from biting!
Thanks again,
Bobby Kubin

The fish hook themself and all I have to do is reel, no jerking to set the hook. My wife now makes me put them on her rigs when we are fishing. We mainly bank fish around Wilson and Wheeler Dams on the Tennesse River in North Alabama. I think your video of the 88lb Blue Cat was filmed in front of where I work on Wheeler Lake.
Thanks Team Catfish. I'm telling you I've never caught so many fish off of one bait. It normally takes 5 minutes between fish before I have my next one. Thanks for your products! Date: 2010-08-31 16:54:16 Name: Josh Location: Ohio Message: Dear Team Catfish. I've seen your videos on youtube and eventually wandered onto your website. So this winter I bought some Secret 7 dip bait and some cirlcle hooks to try and catch some big channels. I started off using cut up bluegill on two rods and Secret Seven on the other two. The Secret Seven outfished the bluegill 3:1. I caught my biggest channel which was a 13lb of the year 34in hog I caught night fishing. Your gear works. I look forward to trying the Sudden Impact Fiber Bait. Date: 2010-08-30 07:19:48 Name: Greg Location: Message: Secret 7 strikes again!
I wasn't having much luck with cut perch for about 3 hours so I took my last dried out fillet of perch and smeared some Secret 7 on it. 30 minutes later and the pole bends with a 24.8 lb 39.5 inch blue cat on the end of the line. That's two 25 lb cats in roughly two weeks with Secret 7. Thanks again for an awesome product!

Date: 2010-08-30 07:16:32 Name: Jason Location: Message: well not that you guys need it, but i figured id give another great testimonial to you... the past 5 mornings ive went to the local community park with absolutely no luck, not even a bite, on nightcrawlers or another brand of dip bait, so i placed my order for secret 7, got it yesterday, i made some leaders using the red dead dip tubes and hooks, and some with the furry thang, i took two rods out early this morning used one dip tube, one furry thang...3 minutes after being in the water, i got a hit, and pulled in about a 3 lber. as i was rebaiting the hook my other rod took a hit, and i pulled in another similar size cat... i rebaited both the hooks threw them out, a couple minutes went by and another one hit... as i was pulling that one in, my second rod got another bite, i ended up missing that one, and pulled in the one i was already pullin in, about a 2 lber. about 5 minutes later, i pulled in another one about the same size as the others, i was out for about another 30 minutes before a storm came and i had about 10 more good hits that i missed which was my own fault, i would be rebaiting a hook, get hit on the other rod but not make it in time... so that stuff works plain and simple.. a warning to those who fish by them selves with multiple rods, if you use secret 7 you wont be able to keep up with them all at once..
